OVERVIEW
This intensive 2-days course offers a wide spectrum of new information and knowledge on the use of laser technology in Endodontics.
You will be able to go back to work on Tuesday and begin using your laser in Endodontics with confidence. You will learn validated protocols to properly treat vital and necrotic teeth, and how to correctly manage root canals with open apices or separated file.
You will understand the critical importance of laser activated irrigation in all the steps of RCT.

David BARNARD
Curriculum Vitae
He is Founding Fellow of the International Academy of Endodontics, a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and an Adjunct Associate Professor at both Charles Sturt and La Trobe Universities.
He has been a regular presenter at the Australian Dental Association Centre for Professional Development since 1999.
In 2023 he completed a Masters course in Laser Dentistry at the Catholic University of Sacred heart of Rome.
Since 2017 he has been a Visiting Dental Officer(Endodontics) at the Westmead Centre for Oral Health.
Since 1996 he has been in specialist Endodontic practice in Castle Hill in Sydney.

Giovanni OLIVI
Curriculum Vitae
Giovanni Olivi graduated cum laude in Medicine and Surgery (MD) at ”La Sapienza” University of Rome, and in Dentistry (DDS) at ”Tor Vergata” University of Rome. In 2002 Giovanni achieved the postgraduated diploma in ”Laser Dentistry” from the University of Florence. In 2004, He achieved the laser certification from ISLD; in 2006 the Advanced Proficiency from the Academy of Laser Dentistry and in 2009, the Master status always from ALD. Giovanni in 2007 has been awarded from Academy of Laser Dentistry with the “Leon Goldman Award” for clinical excellence, and in 2024 he received the ”Theodore Maiman Award” for excellence in dental laser research always from ALD.
Active member of Italian Society of Endodontics (SIE), and Italian Academy of Endodontics (AIE), member of American Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD), Giovanni is currently the scientific coordinator of the ”Laser Dentistry” Master courses at Catholic University of Sacred Hearth of Rome, and ad interim President of the International Academy of Innovative Dentistry (IAID). Giovanni Olivi authored over 80 peer-reviewed papers, and 5 books specifically focused on Laser Dentistry.

Cancellation Policy
Requests to withdraw from the course made in writing no less than 14 days before the start of the course, will have 70% of the course fee refunded.
30% of the course fee will be withheld but can be used in the following 12 month period for the same IAID course. After this time the 30% fee will be forfeited.
Requests received less than 14 days before the start of the course will have 70% of the course fee refunded.
There will be a non refundable 30% fee for this cancellation.
